The shop is bursting with seasonal main crop potatoes, root vegetables and delicious green cabbage as well as late summer plums and apples from our own little orchard.

If you live in or near York the big September event in anyone’s calendar has to be The York Food and Drink Festival. Running from the 18th to the 27th there is much on offer for the enthusiastic foodie and you will find us, as usual, in the market on Parliament Street. We will be bringing tried and tested favourites such as our homemade sausages and hand cured bacon, along with some brand new products; keep an eye out for the limited edition Caribbean goat burgers when you stop by the stand.
