June is a month for cycle rides and picnics with family and friends as the sun shines and the summer solstice on the 20th June approaches.

For those planning summer delights of picnics and enjoying the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside you can find everything you would want to put in your basket here at Tancred for a tasty picnic from delicious pork pies, a variety of cooked meats, local cheeses and pickles.

For all you cyclists who are out cycling around Yorkshire, perhaps completing the well known golden triangle you are extremely welcome to call off at our coffee shop for a midway break.  We can cook you up something hearty like a bacon buttie with bacon sourced from our fields, a protein packed ploughman’s, or if you would prefer something lighter a toasted teacake or scone.  We also have a good selection of hot and cold beverages to go alongside your bite to eat.  While the sun is shining you can also enjoy your snack outside on our patio area to get you reenergised for the rest of your cycle ride.

While you are out and about enjoying the sun you will find us at the Green Hammerton Country Fayre on Saturday 10th July, which is set to be a spectacular day of entertainment for all the family.  If you haven’t booked your tickets yet you can do so by visiting www.greenhammertoncountryfayre.co.uk.  If you book by the 20th June you can save 20%.  We look forward to seeing you there for a fun packed day.
